Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
In short: Zenlyz has no servers, no accounts and no tracking. Your tasks stay on your device. The only information that ever leaves it is what Apple or Google, and RevenueCat, need to process a purchase — and, if you have Pro, a backup in your own iCloud or Google Drive.
Who we are
Zenlyz is made by Sarveka Labs Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia. This policy covers the Zenlyz app on iPhone and Android, and the website zenlyz.com. Questions: hello@zenlyz.com.
What stays on your device
Zenlyz stores the following only in the app's private storage on your device. We never receive it, because there is nowhere to send it — Zenlyz has no backend, no account system and no login.
- Your tasks: titles, notes, subtasks, areas, priorities, dates, times and repeats
- The first name you enter on the welcome screen, used only to greet you
- Your settings: theme, reminders, Flow Zone sound and music
- Your progress: what you completed and when
When information leaves your device
There are exactly three cases.
1. Purchases
If you buy Zenlyz Pro, the payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details.
We use RevenueCat to check that a purchase is valid and to unlock Pro. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt and basic device information, linked to a random anonymous ID. It never receives your name, your email or anything you write in Zenlyz. RevenueCat handles this information only on our behalf and must give it the same or equal protection as this policy. Privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal basis is performing our contract with you: we can't unlock what you paid for without checking the payment.
2. Backup to your own cloud (Pro)
On iPhone, Pro backs up your tasks, settings and progress — including your name — to your own iCloud, in a private folder only Zenlyz can use. It isn't visible in your iCloud Drive files and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
On Android, when you connect Google Drive, Pro saves the same backup to your own Google Drive, in a hidden app folder that only Zenlyz can read. Zenlyz asks Google only for access to that folder. It also reads the email address of the connected Google account, only to show it on the Profile screen; it stays on your device. Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
This is your storage, not ours. Sarveka Labs can't read, list or delete these backups.
3. Things you choose to share
If you share your progress card or a backup file, it's created on your device and handed to your device's share sheet. You choose where it goes; we receive no copy.
What Zenlyz never does
- No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no tracking
- No push server: reminders are local notifications scheduled by your device
- No access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, location or health data. The only permission Zenlyz asks for is notifications, and the app works fully without it.
International transfers
Apple, Google and RevenueCat operate internationally, so purchase information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards. Nothing you write in Zenlyz is transferred anywhere.
Children
Zenlyz is meant for adults. It isn't directed at children under 13, and it isn't part of Apple's Kids category or Google Play's Families programme. We don't knowingly collect information from children — and we hold no personal information at all.
The website
zenlyz.com uses no cookies, analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other websites.
Your rights, and deleting your data
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA or Malaysia's PDPA give you rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. We hold none about you, so your data is in your hands:
- Delete everything in the app: Profile › Reset › Yes, reset — or delete the app
- iCloud backup: Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage storage › Zenlyz
- Google Drive backup: Google Drive on the web › Settings › Manage apps › Zenlyz › Delete hidden app data
- Purchase records: contact Apple, Google or RevenueCat, who process them
Data retention
We keep nothing, because we receive nothing. Data on your device stays until you delete it. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep purchase records under their own policies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
